Initially planned as a strictly limited 8-week engagement, repeat! Production in the woods James has extended its Broadway run and will run at the St. James Theater until October 16, with tickets now on sale for an extension. Casting changes are expected for new performances to be announced in the coming days. After a two-week run in New York City Center in May, the revival—under the direction of Encorus! Artistic Director Lear Debesonet—relocated to Broadway’s St. James Theater, where it opened on July 10, after previews began on June 28. Read Reviews for Production Here,

Cast currently stars Sara Bareilles, Brian D’Arcy James, patina miller, Philip Soo, Gavin CreelAnd Joshua Henry As Baker’s wife, Baker, Witch, Cinderella, Prince of Cinderella and Prince of Rapunzel, respectively, reprise their performances from May Encore with Bareilles and Krell! run.

joining them Julia Lester as Little Red Riding Hood, cole thompson as jack, David Patrick Kelly As a narrator/mysterious person, Annie Golden As Cinderella’s mother/nanny/giant, Nancy Opal As Cinderella’s stepmother, Aymi Garcia As Jack’s mother, Ta’nica Gibson as Lucinda, Albert Guerzon Brooke Ishibashi as Florinda, Kennedy Kanagawa as Milky White, David Turner as Steward, and Alicia Velez as Rapunzel as Cinderella’s father.

Delphi Borich, Felicia Curry, Jason Forback, Alex Joseph Grayson, Cameron Johnson, Paul Krepel, Mary Kate Moore, Diane Phelan and Lucia Spina rounded out the company as an understudy.

The creative team includes music director Rob Berman; choreographer Lorin Lataro; Scenic Designer David Rockwell; costume designer Andrea Hood; lighting designer Tyler Mikolou; sound designer Scott Lehrer, co-designing with Alex Newman; puppet designer James Ortiz; and hair and makeup designer Cookie Jordan. Casting is by Craig Burns of The Telsey Office, and Cody Renard Richards serves as production supervisor. Justin Scribner is the production stage manager, and musical coordination is by Seymour Red Press and Kimberly Wertz.
